w203 towbar bracket

Hi. I'm changing my 98 w202 estate to the later model 02 w203 estate, does anyone know if the standard fit merc detachable towing bracket is interchangeable. Has anybody towed a large caravan with the 200k estate if so how did it perform?

hi, did you have any joy finding out about your towbar, if it doesn't fit and you still have the towbar would you be willing to sell it

Sorry i part exchanged the car and left the towbar on. The S203 requires a different towbar, you can get a detachable towbar for £200 from toys4cars.co.uk.
