Hi guys
Sitting at work bored!
Im sure theres going to be very mixed reviews, but ive seen a couple of adverts of companies converting the 2010 C350 to look like the Facelifted or 63 versions. Anyone had one done?
Ive recently purchased a Palladium Silver 2010 C350 CDI. To be fair it is immaculate! Other than the 2 roof rails im changing next week and chip or 2 in windscreen, it is 100% showroom. Every nut and bolt ever touched on it has been done by Mercedes. Full history but has 123k on it!
Brought it as a "spare " car as only paid £3k for it. Was cheap enough not to say no.
Went through a stage of thinking "leave as is and just run it as a cheap car to and from work etc" to "spend a few quid and keep it until it dies but make it how id like it to look"
I see the conversions done are running around £3k (which i know makes it a £6k car, but ive kinda written off the initial purchase money, so really only chucking similar money at it as someone would wrapping or maybe wheels, stereo etc any other car)
Ive had a few cars facelifted, a L322 Range Rover, Silver Spirit RR so i understand the whole theroy of it doesnt add any value. But still tempted.
Anyone any thoughts?
