Morning All, new here. Had a rubbing/clicking noise coming from under my car, can only hear when inside the car, took to garage and had all new rear break dust shields, disks and pads, including hand break pads replaced. Still making the noise when car is moving only. No noise when sat still and engine on and foot on accelerator, it's only when the wheels are rolling that the sound can be heard from inside the car. I have been googling this morning and found a similar reported noise being put down to the hand break cable clip being broken and the cable dragging/knocking on the prop shaft. For info it's louder at lower speeds. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue and how much was it to fix? or is it something my partner could do himself? (he's done banger racing since he was a child so taken apart and put back together plenty of cars in his time). If anyone has any pictures of doing this job that would be great.

A permanent fix is a new clip. Literally clips into bodywork and cable pops in a recess on the clip.
Best bet get looking under the car while someone drives at slow speed.
If the garage replaced what you have mentioned to alleviate a noise from a broken clip - I would be really peeed.
