Hello everyone, I have a 62 plate w204 executive se model the head lights are the normal halogen yellow light, I found someone breaking a car 2013 w204 coupe selling the lights the newer ones with the led DRL built in, I tried to plug it on mine just to try before purchasing it, the plug fits alright but when the light came on everything was working fine on the new light and no fault code but unfortunately after a couple of minutes main beam and the DRL light starts to flickering?
Is there any way I can get that sorted.
Thanks in advance

Remon, hi. Did you fix this issue? I've an older w204 and want to swap to LEDs so I get better light and fewer replacements. Cheers.

If your car did not come originally equipped with LED's then you're on a very sticky wicket - like automatic MoT fails - installing LED's in the main headlights. There are loads of posts/threads on here about this, and the general concensus for those, like me, that have a car not originally having LED headlights, is to replace the crap original bulbs with Osram Nightbreakers or similar - which is what I have done.

Chrishazle, thanks for that! Perhaps that's why we don't get dazzled by mentally bright LEDs like we used to, because there's no way they were safe. I'll get the Osrams. Cheers.
