w204 heater pipe problems.

Just replaced the front heater pipe hose on my 2010 W204 . When removing it the front connection from the top of the engine area the barbed end snapped off in the end of the pipe.
Could someone tell me the piece the heater hose is connected to and can I replace it. I am hoping its not the rocker cover or something similar. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply mattkh. Looks like its part of the whole fuel filter cooling housing . Cant realy strip all that off so ive bonded extra piece of plastic pipe to the bit thats snapped off and jubilee clipped the pipe to that . Fingers crossed should be secure. Cheers.
