W204 NTG 4 COMAND Bluetooth HFP question

Hi guys, just a quick one:

I'm looking at getting a Bluetooth HFP unit that plugs into my armrest phone cradle and I just wanted to check some things.

Will these units support new Iphones, such as my Iphone 12?

Will it import all of my contacts from said Iphone 12?

Will it work in my car (2009 C-Class - NTG4 COMAND)?

Is it worth buying one?

Does anyone have one hanging about that I can buy? If so, please get in contact

Have you checked that it will work on the UHI cradle with NTG4? Reason I asked is that I have a 2008 S204 with NTG4 and the UHI cradle in the centre arm rest, a few years ago I took the car to comand.co.uk in Lightwater, Surrey to have the HDD upgraded so I could load maps later than 2015 (turned out MB stopped issuing updates after 2018-19!!), they tried a number of bluetooth adapters but could not get one to work, so I'm limited to using the Comand link rather than UHI. @Alfie or @richard would be able to tell you if you give them a call.

Ohhhh okay, thanks for letting me know, I'm not majorly worried as I can receive and make calls, just not via the COMAND System. I've also been looking into whether I can stream music via Bluetooth, apparently I'll need a firmware update and to go into the engineer settings, any ideas on that?

Have your VIN handy so they can look up the build sheet for your car. They're in Lightwater, Surrey not far from J3 M3. Their shop is actually called Unique Car Sounds, it's just past the BP garage as you head for Lightwater from J3 M3.
