- s204 C200 CDI Blue Efficiency MY2012, w245 B200 CDI Facelift
Hi everyone. My w204 facelift with 135k km has started pulling to the right. I checked the front wheels for play and I found a clunking noise grabbing the wheel at 12 and 6 o' clock. Tie rods seems fine, so for exclusion I looked at the control arms. If I grab them and try to rotate them by hand I can hear clearly a light metallic clunk and I feel a light play. See the video. I went to a MOT mechanic who tested under load the suspension and told me the front silent block is loose. These silent blocks were replaced at 110k km in 2018 at MB dealer, I don't understand how they could fail so rapidly! I also suspect that the wheel bearing needs adjustment. I don't really know what to do since every mechanic tells a different thing and I don't like leaving my car in not capable hands. Do you think this clunk is normal? Should I replace all 4 control arms anyway? Thank you for help
