Hi guys so a few weeks ago I got the brake pad warning ! No problem I bought new pads and found the right hand rear pads were heavily worn but the left hand still look as good as new! I had noticed a week earlier when the window was down I could hear a rotational shh shh shh shh noise coming from that week so I wasn't surprised and as such I thought "warped disc" so bought new discs too!
Fitting went straight forward apart from I couldnt for the life of me find my 18mm ring spanner for the calipers and a socket dosnt fit! so Halfords had an unexpected visitor ( long story I really don't like halfords after they tried robbing me with an mot a few years ago)
Anyway all went well untill this morning the shh shh shh noise is back!
I can't have a warped disc again, can I?
I'm thinking the only other thing that can cause that is if the disc isn't mounted flat or the hub is "tweeked" I'm pretty sure the disc is flat because gave the mounting face a wire brush clean so that leaves the tweeked hub?
What can cause that and how much of a job is it to replace?
Also the caliper isn't stuck averythings moving freely and got regreased!
