W204 seat swap

I am new to this forum, apologies if this has been asked before but my 2012 w204 has Artico seats they have started to deteriorate over time especially the drivers seat. My question is, has any one exchanged with real leather from similar age vehicle of same model (W204)? if so is it an easy swap? is there anything to watch out for? any problems with wiring connectors etc?

Hello and welcome

It can be done, or you could get it re-trimmed.

If you’re getting new seats, just make sure the replacements are the same - if yours are manual then the replacements should be. If they’re electric you’ll have lots of “fun” getting them to work

Same problem with my driver's seat. I'm considering either a partial retrim in Artico, or getting both front seats retrimmed in leather.

How much have people paid for this?
