Morning all.
I've recently had the 2 lower arms and drop link replaced on the RHF of my w204 C250.

The parts I had put on were from eurocar parts I believe and they were starline.

Since having these done my steering has been shocking, if I have my steering wheel straight the car will swerve left badly.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm thinking it's going to be something to do with the camber as maybe the arms are slightly longer/shorter than the original MB ones. But if I replace the same on the left hand side, will this then mean I could get it hunter aligned better?

Seems these cars are very camber sensitive!

All help and reccomendations welcome.

I have had this problem before with aftermarket parts, morethan likely the parts are not exactly the same in dimensions.
If you still have the old parts you'll have to measure them up against each other, or you will need a wheel alignment?

Have you torqued to specs the bolts with tyre on the ground? Were there alignment washers on the long control arm bolt? If so, you have now modified alignment values.

Not unusual with aftermarket arms according to our resident Indys.

Starline.......

For whats the price difference and the quality and the no further issues .... MB love MB parts esp on these issues.

Did you fit yourself and compare the parts?

time to get on a hunter!

I torqued all the bolts up at ride height yes and there was no concentric washer for adjustment on any of the bolts... Annoyingly as adjustment could be made on them!

Yeah I'm finding that out about MB now after owning mine for a while.

I'll be certainly using MB for any further jobs I do!

Next job is to get the other arms on and hopefully a hunter alignment can sort it out with minimal adjustments available
