w205- can I fit three pointed star?

Hopefully someone will know the answer to this . My W205 has the flat bonnet badge with black lettering. I would like to fit the three pointed star with the laurel and lettering on blue background.

Can this be done and any idea which one fits as Edinburgh M B seem to have several that all predictably look the same.

You can fit one, do you have a star in the radiator grill? “Double staring” looks wrong, better to change the radiator to one without a star then fit the upright on the bonnet.

They had a better choice in Europe as they kept the “bomb-site” on more models - I looked at changing the grill on my W213 to the European one to fit the upright star. I’d give eBay Germany a look

I’ve got one in garage will get you the part number tommorow for the star , ignore the double star comments you already have the star on the bonnet badge and grill so no difference

Bonnet Star Part Number: MA222 810 12 00 (as supplied by UK dealership 2 years ago) - Not cheap though!

You can also get a special tool off eBay to tighten the thumb turn bottom of the star as it can be a bit tight to turn
