W205 Distronic plus wiring behind front grill

Hi all, I was driving down the A11 on a rainy day and a puddle splash from a car just infront of me smashed into the front of my car and knocked out the Distronic plus and any other cruise control. Thankfully this all came back after stopping at a petrol station and switching on and off - I couldn't see any broken wiring.

However I can see that the wiring for the Distronic plus radar is hanging about pretty loosely behind the front grill and wondering if this is meant to be clipped in somewhere? Pictures attached.

Looking at it, that black tab may click into something to stabilises the wiring. Otherwise perhaps some cable ties.

yep - 30mm to the left of the brown plug is a plastic clip (the tape holds it to the loom), it must pop in to a hole not far away
