I relubed this by adding a greas gun nipple.
Put a very thick lucas industrial/marine grease in.
Due to lack of clearance the nipple was replaced with a flush screw.
Silent now, but for how long?

Nice idea. Some use a syringe and inject psf in through the rubber boot.

Hi, i did lube the boot side first with regular grey moly cv grease but only lated 5 weeks.
This time i wanted tighter grease and in behind the ball as well as above the gaiter.

Im sure it will go squeaky again and i will just have to replace. These are a weak part on c class. Some of the pattern parts may hold up longer?

Nice job, pity they didn't come like that new!
About two years ago I had the same problem cured temporarily by injecting some ATF into the joint. Quietened up for a month or so and then developed into a judder under braking although there was no play I could detect even with a long lever and the weight off the suspension.
Replaced both sides with Metzger parts for about €100 and no issues since but I don't do a lot of miles.

How did you manage to took out the ball joint itself from the control arm?
