I'm trying to, upgrade the stock screen in my 2015 C Class to the larger Android Screen. I've tried to remove the stock screen, but it's stuck in the dash. Looking at YouTube videos it's just a matter of loosening the 2 torx screws under the top speaker cover then it should slide out. Mine will not budge. I've literally tried pulling it as had as I can but it seems to be stuck on the right hand side. There is slight movement, but it just won't budge. Any ideas where it could be catching stopping it from coming out? Any suggestions appreciated.

I’ve also been looking to change the screen for the following reasons in my 16 Reg C 220d W205

Slow at reading data as it’s a Garmin SD Map Pilot(so I believe)

No touch screen which is annoying

Map display and resolution feels like it’s running windows 95 via booting from a floppy disk.

Question?
I’m curious to know if the later MB Command unit would be a simple plug and play without the need to be coded.

Also what aftermarket screens work better or just as good as the premium Command units?

As for removing the screen with the top two screws loosened, it’s a case of wiggling this out until you can see the connectors and access them to remove the entire screen
