Hi, i have sourced a set of AMG style 2 reps 18inch 8.5j ET35 all round for my W208 convertible

rears should be fine, looking to run a 245 profile tyre, front however when mock fitting where very close to the suspension, (no tyres fitted at the moment). was thinking a 225 profile up front, however the gap between alloy and suspension being as close, am thinking of a 5mm spacer and longer bolts. any suggestions?

regards

I think the genuine staggered AMG wheels are 7.5 at the front, 8.5 at the rear. Also a different ET.

245 and 225 are widths not profiles

Our W208 had 7 1/2 J x 17.and ET 37 front (225x45)and
8 1/2 J x 17 and ET 30 rear. (245x40)
Not sure what the recommended 18’s are.

HI, alloy wheels direct show 2 options, both now unavailable

18 x 9 ET35, and 18 x 8 ET31

as mentioned the rears im not worried about, might aim for a 5mm hub centric spacer and bolts. has anyone had experience with a setup like this that they can share?

You won't get a 5mm hubcentric Spacer there is not enough material to do it safely, 10mm is the thinnest.

A 5mm spacer is called a shim as it will simply sit between the hub and wheel
