W208 CLK 230 k 1999

Back lights on dash don't work I have removed it and can't see anything that looks bad looked and changed the fuses still nothing.When reconnecting the harnesses to the back of the dash the back lights turn on when the right side harness is half way on but as soon as fully connected they don't work.

Thanks is that a new cluster then?? It has the 3 buttons on the left + - and 0 not the twist knob
