w208 clk missing on start up

2.3k starts fine & idles ok, but for the first mile or so runs like its on three, missing then clears, plugs look fine & MAF cleaned & all intake pipes.(very slight oil residue- thanks James)
Any views appreciated, thanks

Either the plug leads or a coil is failing.

A decent diag machine will pick up from which cylinder.

Thanks for the info, not looked too closely but how are the coils removed?

They have a small torx screw on top.

You must of removed your coils once, to be able declare that your plugs look fine!!!

Thats the only two. each coil fires 2 cylinders each.

On the later cars they had one per cylinder, but yours only has 2.
