Hi,
My offside side light failed today, I thought it may be a bulb or fuse, the usual things to check, but it has turned out to be something I know nothing about so if anyone knows what I'm talking about then pls help.

The Grey wire from the side light goes to the back of a cluster (Where the main electrical plug connects to) but it has (i think) a fuse of some sort along the way, this is where the break has occured and the two just cant be re-connected using a connector or insulating tape.

So my question is, is this replaceable, what is it called and where can I get it, (MB dealer I guess)

So there it is, any help would be really greatfull as I have my MOT due in mid Oct.

Thanks again.

Ok, turns out that MB cant fix this wire, they say its a complete headlamp replacement as its a sealed unit....
Anyway, took it to an auto electrician who managed to kinda sort the problem out (to get me out of trouble at least) however I now know that the grey wire has an inline resister going through it, the issue I now have is where I get a replacement one from as I don't know the voltage/amps etc (whatever the jargon is for electronics) I know MB cant do it, so any ideas again would be helpful and I'd be very greatful too.

Thanks
