W208 CLK window operation

Just a quick call for assistance! Early facelift w208 CLK - (side repeaters in mirrors) - do all these have the function that drops the window very slightly as you open the door and closes it back up when the door shuts?? I have a 2000 'X' plate that does, and a 2000 'W' plate that doesn't. Is the 'W' plate not working, or is it possible that the very early facelift cars were not fitted with this feature?? I also have in a 1998 'S' plate, but I am sure these early cars never had this feature at all.

Mines a early 98, Uncle it doesnt behave as you describe, however after parking with ign' switched off, with the window partly down; then the driver's window wont wind straight up even if I hold the sw' down. It will stop wind down an inch and stop, sometimes it will do this twice before closing. I assumed this was an anti trap feature?
