W208 Command upgrade

hi i have a 2000 W208 with the Audio 10 cd player

looking to upgrade to the command headhunt, ive been doing a bit of research, and it looks like it may be plug and play

can anyone confirm?

No, it’s a lot more than that. As I understand it, Comand units create much more heat so need specific cooling fans and ducting and the whole process, while, doable, is complex. Speak to the guys at https://www.commandonline.co.uk/ for more info. @Alfie

On a W208 it is pretty much plug and play although you will need to find the speed pulse and wire that into a loom adaptor. Plus a GPS antenna.

We have the loom adapters and also a genuine W208 comand unit that came out of a channel islands car that had only covered 17,000 miles.

The fibre ring should be properly coded on the comand and also the instrument cluster will need coding to display the navigation instructions.
