Hi what type of front fog light bulb fits a 2001 clk. Reading through the manual, I see the front headlight indicator types, however not the front fogs.

Off topic, is there a known mod to add a 2nd fog light to the rear lights, as mine currently only has 1

Most MBs have just one fog light on the offside ..... apparently fitting one on each side would be confused with brake lights (though other manufacturers manage to fit one on each side)

One fog light at the rear is rather stupid if you travel in Europe frequently. I had a Renault Espace and on a foggy night I was followed by a colleague - who pointed out that from a distance it placed my apparent "offside" on the wrong side of the road. Both the rear lamps already even included a fog light and it my Renault dealer charged 1/2 hour's labour to connect it so they both worked off the foglight switch.

I think my S203 rear fogs light up both sides ?

Check the opposite side rear cluster, you will find that just the bulb is missing.

Probably H1 but without removing it cant be sure.

Are you sure it's not in the book?

I've read the owners handbook a few times now and all except the front fog are listed, I've ordered some H1 as worst case scenario can be used on the wives car

That was not the case with my R Class. There was a bulb in each side, but the nearside bulb was only used as a 'back up' lamp in the case of AN Other bulb failing.

There is an Osram bulb app available. i have it loaded on my iPhone, useful for knowing what bulbs the family cars take. Shows standard, longlife and upgrade bulbs for the vehicle application you enter. Worth a try. Just google Osram bulb app.
