Good Morning to you all!!! Thanks for all the help which you have been giving me over the past few days! I had the first full weekend with the CLK, and naturally have some more in store! :)

1. Sticking in Comfort mode tends to keep the revs around 1500-2500 most of the time. Isnt it better for fuel economy to keep it between 2000-3000? Is there any way this map could be altered?

2. I have COMAND fitted, and was listening to some music - whenever there is heavy thumping bass, the driver's side window rattles (some sort of resonance perhaps). Any cures or perhaps what could be causing this?

3. There are some very very tiny stone chips on the driver side rearview mirror. Am thinking about touch up paint and a thin paintbrush. The car is Iridium Silver Metallic - any idea where I can get touch up kits from?

4. There is a periodic rattle from the passenger window. Have not been able to locate the source... any clues?

5. There appears to be some bubbling on the door-sill (where the Merc logo is) on the passenger side. Is this a known issue? I tried to press down the bubbles and it appears there is a thin coating on top of the sill perhaps which is bubbling? Definitely doesnt look nice.

6. Finally - I did NOT manage to get to the engineering menu using the Hidden Menus doc floating on the net. Video playing seems to be totally disabled on the COMAND system in my car... any help how to activate would be gladly taken! :)

Thanks in advance! :)

Cheers
TC

I'd be mentioning the bubbling to them for sure, they would be best for resetting some of the parameters. Stone chips also, not sure about the rattles.

Cool! Thanks, will write a letter of grievance to the stealer. The salesbloke is top though - helped me a lot throughout the process. :)
