2005 C280 Cabriolet - opened the roof and as it was near the end, bang and roof jolted, but almost completed leaving very last operation incomplete - cover not fully down.
Opened it later and a hinge on the rear metal cover has a plastic piece broken.
Tried closing the roof again, nearly complete but fails at the end - please see pics.
I’ve removed the broken piece of plastic but the metal panel still needs to go forward and down to complete
New hinge coming from MB in a few days.
Do I just fit the new hinge, or is the roof confused about where it is? Or what else do I do please?
