W209 centre console removal -Help!!!

I've started to upgrade to Audio 20 and install facelift buttons and heater controls but how do i remove the ashtray? I can't find instructions in the pdf's Malcolm sent me??

Panic over!! Lifted the 2 tangs at front and lifted out!

There is two clips which you have to pop backwards, there in the two square parts left and right of the gear selector.........

Re cover them both with Vinyl wrap from Ebay and it will be perfect

That's a good idea!!
Where can I get the correct wiring looms/plugs from because they're all different?!
Today was more a trial run than anything, so I now know what I need to do but connecting is a different story!!
