My RHS dip beam usually doesnt come on. Well not for some time, I have gone for days without it working then all of a sudden it works? when it comes on it stays on as long as i wish. Once switched off again and left a while I am back to square one. Seems that the problem is with the triggering? Anyone had this problem? and know the cure?

Does the main beam work on the RHS? Bi-xenons operate on dipped and main beam.

When it does not come on, lightly tap the the igniter box and the lamp to see if it is a poor connection, it could be the lamp

Yes the main beam is fine thanks.

Don't confuse it with the halogen bulb. Bi-xenon set-ups use the xenon for dipped beam using a metal shield to prevent dazzle, then the unshielded xenon plus the halogen for main beam.

If the xenon is firing on main beam but not on dipped, expect a problem with the control / ignition module.

Not sure how this would work as it is only the shield that moves for main beam....
