I have two irritating noise on my 2003 CLK200K. These have only developed in the last month or so.
1. The engine just sounds more "buzzy" than usual. Performance appears fine, I dont drive hard, but it just feels slightly rough. I've looked under the bonnet but dont here anything obvious and I've checked the exhaust similarly. I know I should just go to a dealer but wondered if anyone else had any ideas ?
2. The second noise is from somewhere in the rear, just a dull thud going over sharp bumps. It sounds exactly like the spare wheel is rattling around and in fact for a couple of months I though it was the babies pram so I ignored it. Then I drove with the boot empty and its still there. I removed the spare and tools etc and still there........???
Anyone any suggestions? All ideas welcome its driving me mad !
