W209 CLK Powerfold Wing Mirror

Hi all.
Recently purchased a 2005 CLK 320. The O/S powerfold mirror is not folding and also seems loose, resulting in the whole mirror moving around whilst driving. So, my question is, can I buy a replacement mirror and swap the covers over? Or does it need a whole new unit? I ask, as I think the colour of mine is fairly rare in CLK form, so finding a used replacement is proving difficult. Thanks in advance.

The colored mirror cover can be swapped to a second hand mirror no problem, providing its not loose because its fixings are broken.
Is the mirror stem coloured? this might be a different matter, but I am pretty sure they can be removed/refitted.

The stem is colour coded as well. I was hoping I could buy a second hand replacement and swap all the colour coded parts over.

W209’s in the colour are as rare as hens teeth.
