w210 2001 320 C.D.I. PAINT CODE ????

Hey ladies/gents .

Decided to give the old work horse a bit of a tidy up new front wings and touch up here and there. Where is the paint code found on these cars ? Also does anybody have any experience with pattern wings for the w210 are there any good ones out there or should i just get some o.e. ones from the dealer, As my experience with pattern wings in the past has not been good (take a lot of fettling/filling to make fit! ) Also ive given the front bumper and side skirts a few bumps and ripped them in a few places does this have to be plastic welded or can i fix it with the gap body filler? (the one with the fibre glass in it ) Any advice would be greatly appreciated

The pattern wings for the 210 are quite a good fit, will need a bit of tweaking in a few places, but the fit is good, The bumper and skirts can be filled with ordinary filler as they are fairly rigid and donr flex that much, tho if you have any splits or breaks they will have to be glued or plastic welded..You can use fibre glass filler provided you can get behind the bumper or skirt to clean it well first..tho dont tell everyone...One thing you must do is cut off and sand down any high or straggly plastic edges as they will rise up and defeat your efforts...
