Hi,

W210 E320 CDI .... MB re-gassed, then the air con stopped cooling, re-gassed again and added even more dye - no leaks observed, even either running or once turned off.

All OK for the last two weeks and but today AC no longer cools the air !!!

Any ideas on what to look at ?

Will be back with MB to check the dye if has indicated a leak but twice to date no fault has been found :-(

Thanks....

Hi,

Been searching around and found out that one needs to ensure :

1) there is sufficient oil in the compressor
2) that the receiver/drier is working ? filter should be changed every couple of years ?

Is the act of re-gassing also cover the above two items ?

thanks....

Neither of those will cause you to lose the gas !

There must be a leak somwhere, tell the MB mech to pull his finger out and search properly.
