W210 Ball Joints Advice Needed

I have a W210 320cdi, and I think the lower ball joints and link rods need replacing. Has anyone done this, and can you tell me how to?

What are the torque settings if any, and do I need to take the disc off the car ? (like you do on a W202)

Is it a difficult job, or can I do it on my drive on a Saturday afternoon?

Any advice much appreciated.

If you've changed 202 lower swivols then you will see no real difference between them & your 210. You do not need to remove the discs on either, only 140s. Undo the 22mm nut that faces back first, knock the joint out, remove guide pin if it sticks in, pull the hub away from the lower arm & remove the verticle facing 22mm. Can be done in 15 mins both sides if you have access to a ramp.
