W210 cdi alternator possible to retrofit?

Originally came with water cooled/heated alternator

Is it possible to blank the cooling line and/or retrofit with other model alternator ? Without too much complications

Reason is very hard to source for original replacement.

What is the dimensions for the frame of alternator?

How does the original line connected? Need to renew gasket /oring if the alternator dismantle ?
Is it the exactly same alternator that w203 cdi is using ?

Try your merc dealer they will have the replacement..

Do you actually need a replacement alternator? Or could you just change the voltage regulator/bush pack.
