W210 climate control

The digital Air conditioning climate control works fine on my car but the little LED lights for Auto, the carbon filter and the heated front screen don't illuminate. the REST button does not work and the EC LED doesn't light up! Would this be a fault with the display?

You sure that the system works ok?

The whole system was working fine but just one over 1200 miles this week going to cornwall and back, on the last day the NEW air con pump started making a noise like a machine gun but was still working but today i checked it and the electronic clutch is engaging but no air con!! Its had a brand new air conditioning condensor and pump so i'm hoping that it may be something else at fault now..

Just had the a/c diagnostic done today and the brand new compressor i had fitted has failed, probably due to the fact that the drier hasn't been replaced, which also means no warrenty on the pump. So i've got to fork out for another brand new compressor and reciever drier now.. (ouch) Not to mention another regass. That'll be a total of 5 regasses this year.. Not cheap motoring!
