As a lot of people on here have found, the temp and clock/gear display on
W210 E class usually goes intermittent. Mine did just that, although when I took the before pic sods law intervened and the display worked! but you can see that the clock didn't so off to Cluster Repairs who are based in Gorleston
(shortly moving to larger premises in Gt Yarmouth) and also have a branch in London. As you can see from the after pic the displays have been transfomed, at last a clock on the dashboard! and for the modest sum of £150 and it only took three quarters of an hour. The technician took approx ten seconds to remove the cluster from the dash!! and about the same to replace it. I have no connection with the firm but can definitely recommend them to other forum members who might have the same problem.
Forgot to mention they guarantee the repair for five years.
