All,
I didn't do this in the end as I jobbed the car in instead, but if any of you have pixellated displays, I found a bloke who offered to look at it for me (most repairers wouldn't). As I say, I can't fully vouch for him as I haven't used him, but he seemed genuine so if anyone wants his details, PM me.
