Having had a one of the doorsill / kickplates break off my '96 W210, I've managed to find a cheap way to repair. The main dealer will tell you that you will have to buy a new sill cover/kickplate (£12.50 + VAT). However the W211fastener buttons (as they are called), fit perfectly. The part number is 0019889781 and they cost 55p each. They just slide in after you've slid the old ones out......B******S to buy a whole new sill cover/kickplate! :???:

Hi,
There was a post back in september and i posted the correct pt no's for w210 and w202 sill clips.
To be completely honest if a new sill is only £12.50 i don,t think that is to bad considering on most cars these get covered in light scratches and have a tendency to get damaged new always looks better.
