I picked up my new (to me) 2001 E-Class today and have a small list of jobs to do to return it to the perfect condition it deserves.
One is to replace the square control switch for the electric mirrors, but I can't see how to get at it. I'm loathe to just resort to pulling at panels but guess that the centre wooden insert has to be removed in order to remove the switch.
How is the centre insert (with window switches etc) removed? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?
Also, does anyone know how much the replacement part is from MB?
