W210 E240 Climate Control EC Keeps Turning On After Reset It

Hi W210 Users! My car climate control keeps turning ON the EC mode after i RESET it multiple time. What can be the rootcause and how to find out the real issue?

Second, I have a whistling sound when turning ON my climate control. The sound will be vanished the moment I Turn OFF the Climate Control. Any idea?

EC mode coming on relates to the AC system not working - usually due to a lack of gas in the system
