Hi All,

Just had my E280 for a week and a half now, chuffed with it :)

However, this morning I lowered the driver's side rear window to clear de-icer and it wouldn't come back up. After removing the door panel, turns out the cabling was all tangled and knotted :(

What I would like to know is if it is possible to re-route the cable or will I have to invest in a new motor? And how much will said motor possibly cost?

I do have the window back up as well now though.

Thanks,
-SteveyT

Its easier to replace the mechanism and refit old motor. Get the rivitts as well when buying item.

People have re-wired them before but it is not really worth the hassle. A new regulator is what you need.
