I have a feeling that one of the rusty pipes in my engine bay (since repaired) was caused by too much water in the engine coolant.

So I fancy flushing it all out, and replacing it with MB coolant.

Whats the best way to do this, and whats the rough capacity?

If the system has not been contaminated by oil you need not flush-

The key to stopping corrosion is not just the right coolant but also using deionised water rather than tap water. It stops the corrosion caused by the electrolytic action of normal water. Big problem on any engine with an alloy head on an iron block.

Capacity of the system should be in your handbook or Haynes manual.

There's a drain nozzle under the rad. and on right hand side engine block (rear of engine mount under the exhaust manifold, easier seen from below).
Capacity approx 9 litres (9.5 with A/C).
50/50 mixture antifreeze/water, de-ionised as suggested.
