Hey guys/gal

Was changing my injector seals again today cos 0ne had blown again and when i put the hoover on one of the injector stud holes i thought i was hoovering up wd40 and rubbish but after sucking for a long time i was hoovering up the water out the engine !:eek: Just wanted to know if anybody has had this before ? I think it was cylinder 3's stud hole that the water was coming out . Do the studs pass through the water jacket in the head? After putting it all back together it doent seem to leak and engine runs sweet which is strange just hope it gonner last lol cos i imagine changine the head would cos thousands .

The bolt has gone down too far and cracked the head,ive seen it before but ive sealed it up and not had a problem so you might be ok.

what did you seal it up with? liquid leak sealer added into the header tank or something? Ive used new mercedes bolts every time and torqued them up properley so i cant believe it :D The bolts must stretch or something when they heat up and stab through :eek: Ive heard of people drilling through the water jacket when they snap off the injector studs but i didnt realise that the water jacket was that close! So not only how the injectors are held in a crap design, The head is crap as well :p Hope it doesnt bubble up and go down the injector tomorrow on the motorway ill end up with a big bang :eek:

It happens when a bit of crud falls down the hole, and the bolt pushes down piercing the water jacket.

Its made it 70 miles trip to london .Just gotter see if it makes its back fingers crossed:eek:
