My W210 E320 CDI is fine when cold but once warm suddenely gets to a point where at - say - 40mph/2000 rpm it takes ages to accelerate; eventually will top out at 90mph/under 3000 revs and will go no faster or rev any higher. This problem appeared about 18 months back and was told servo had seized into engine manifold; this replaced and fine since, until recently when re-appeared following replacement of mixer housing (a hose had blown off). Mercedes dealer saying this time problem is down to fault with the replacement mixer housing, which will be replaced under warranty; however, I am anxious that there may be something else causing the problem, and causing the mixer housing to have blown twice. Obviously possible all of this just series of unlucky coincidences etc, but does anyone have experience of any similar symptoms?
Cheers,
Neil.
