Hi All,

A couple of times now, when accelerating hard around a tight left hand corner my car stick in gear until i turn the engine off and restart. (Sorry automatic/tiptronic)

I have checked the battery cables under the rear seat and all wires are tight.

Any ideas what causes this. I can do thousands of miles with no problems, but if i have to accelerate hard aroundleft hand corners this seems to happen.

Any ideas apart from (Dont accelerate round left hand corners)

RPM sensor at a guess, needs a star machine for a correct readout of fault codes!!

You need the fault codes read with a Star machine.

Wild stab in the dark... My guess is weak engine mount allowing the gearbox to move relative to the gear lever. Implausible gear selection will be stored in the transmission ecu if this is the case. I have seen this before, but is a bit of a guess...
