Hello all,

This morning it was particularly foggy, so I turned on my rear fog lamps only to be greeted with a bulb error on the dash.
I changed the bulb first of all, still the same. Then checked the fuse on the o/s of the dash, it was intact.
There doesn't appear to be any power getting to the bulb holder, which leads me to believe that it might be wiring or a relay at fault.
I was wondering if this was a common fault on this model, ie if you look at xyz you will probably find it is corroded etc.
Does anyone know if there is a rear fog lamp relay, or if the rear fog lamps are common to any other circuit.
Before I start digging around a bit deeper, I thought I'd ask you peeps on here.

Regards,

Col

Hi

Might sound silly but you did put the bulb in the correct side, only one side works. It could be a front light cos from memory the fronts come on before the rears.

Hi,

I only have 1 fog light in the tailgate, on the o/s. The warning doesn't come on until the rear light is switched on, 1 pull for front and 1 more for rear.

Regards,

Col

Does it really matter as it only comes on with the fogs,it may cure its self before next winter :D
