I have a 1999 W210 E240 estate that appears to have a problem with the rear screen washer. I first noticed that washer jet was only squirting water half way up the rear window – not enough to clean properly. This has got progressively worse and now when the rear washer is activated the water appears come out of the front windscreen jets (not seen this before) and nothing out the back – strange! When you press the switch you can hear the pump working. I assume it is a common system on the W210 to have a single pump sending water to the front or rear controlled by a valve somewhere. Any thoughts?
