w210 facelift instrument cluster pixels

hi, i have a 2002 w210 e220 cdi the pixels for the temperature and clock dont work properly and was wondering is there a way repairing it ifso can i do it myself and what will be needed the rest of the displays work as they should.

The ribbon cables need packing out on the connectors on the PCB inside. The cluster must be dismantled, and small rubber or plastic wedges cut and pushed between the ribbon cables and the PCB connectors so that they are forced down making a good contact

hi, i have the same problem, how much time are you talking to install the 'fix' as i know an auto elec?
