Hi Guys - Can anyone tell me where the best / cheapest (i know they don't always go hand in hand) place to get a set of front bushes for a W210 (96) E200 estate is please - have also been told that I will soon need rear sub frame bushes as they are getting a little spongy....... I was also wondering about the merits of fitting pollycarbon ones .......

For those that have done DIY jobs, is it a long job / difficult job ?

Any help apprechiated

Do you not just ask them to apply the discount applicable to older vehicles?

I did this job on my 202, £30 for the bushes plus 2 hours labour to fit per side.
Or £80 for complete lower arm, plus 1 hours labour to fit.
I went for the new lower arms in the end.

It is best to go for the arms. Much easier job.

The subframe bushes are a pig unless you have the right tool. Hint.
