W210 heating/fan blower very noisy PLEASE HELP!!!

I have a W210 E230 classic 1996 N reg

Just recently, when I turn the fan speed knob over half way there is a loud viabration coming from the fan, it still blows out air well. Does anyone know what this might be?

Also does anyone know if my car has aircon, it has an EC button but nothing else. The air that it blows out is not that cold when put on the coldest setting

Hi

Sounds like the bearing in the heater mtr may be worn out. Or a leaf or some sort of debris may be caught.

The EC button means you should have AC. EC means economy. If its not going cold with the EC light OFF. Then it will need refilling & checking for leaks.

If it is the motor. Then its a replacement item. They are not made to come apart.

But check it out first.
