W210-How to remove the External Door Strip?

Hi there,
Could anyone tell me how to remove the external "rubbing strip" from the front door of a 1998 W210 E class saloon please?
I can see a screw on the inside rearward-edge of the door, which obviously plays a part in holding the strip on, but there must be something else as well?

Take out that screw and it slides out sideways,,its in a kind of keyhole slot
