w210 no lights on warning buzzer

what is the most likely cause of a missing lights on warningbuzzer on a 96p e230 w210?

normally when you leave the headlights on without the ignition you get a buzzer when you open the door to remind you to turn them off. My friends car doesn't do this.

I am awake now most probably the buzzer its self, if it is faulty I have the choice of 20 sirens buzzers etc that you can have, all12 volt, and some so loud you cant be in the same room with them

I red the post as "no lights on warning buzzer" and there arnt any
