Hi folks, this afternoon, whilst driving a few miles home and stuck in a queue I was suddenly aware of what sounded like a 'song thrush' stuck under my bonnet....
On inspection this evening I think this rather musical squeeking is coming from one of the pulley belt wheels on the power-steering-pump side of the engine. I know its not the Air Con as this squeek carries on regardless of whether the aircon is on or not. Ive checked the power steering fluid level and thats fine -the same level as it was last service and nice and clean too. Any ideas what this might be.. is it just a case of getting the WD40 out on one of the pulley wheels? The squeek disappears above around 12-1500 rpm.
Cheers
